(More customer reviews)Like other reviewers, I was impressed with the sound out of such seemingly small speakers.However, my Sansa is much newer (e280, and apparently not backward compatible with all the accesories...) and it did not fit on the dock or in the clips - nor did any of the additional connection configurations work to power/charge the player while playing it through the speakers.The headphone jack connector worked to play the music from my player through the speakers, but that was it.So, my recommendation is that this system is great if you have the correct version of the Sansa player.If not, the jumble of cords and lack of charging capability make this system less desirable.I am returning mine and plan to buy something that my Sansa will dock into directly.

UPDATE:I purchased the Altec Lansing im510 Dock for my e280 Sansa at Best Buy and it sounds (and charges)great.It's about $80 now.

Griffin FM transmitter for her ipod and it works great.I liked the awesome display and that it could operate on batteries.The only problem is that it doesn't work.I tried it in both of my cars (a truck and a car) and I held it all over the interior of both cars trying to find the "sweet spot" but I couldn't.I also tried going up the whole FM frequency and couldn't find anything that would work.In frustration I picked up the Sony cassette adapter and it works perfectly and sounds great.Oh well.

Kensington Universal FM Transmitter for MP3 Players (Black) Review

(More customer reviews)I have had this Kensington FM transmitter for about 2 months and in my hands it has very acceptable sound and not alot of static.

Unfortunately it has one fatal design flaw that makes listening to classical, jazz and any other type of music with any quiet passages VERY FRUSTRATING.During the quiet parts the unit will shut itself off causing my car audio to emit a ear piercing screech when it loses the signal. I haven't measured it but it seems like as little a 10-15 seconds of quiet causes this behavior.

This makes this unit useless for classical music and quite a bit of jazz and other similar styles.If you listen to quiet music, avoid at all costs.If you don't it is the best transmitter I have tried.

(More customer reviews)Now that my faithful old car cassette receiver won't stop reversing tape direction, I haven't been able to use a cassette adapter for my mp3 player.So I tried this Monster FM Transmitter, and I'm sorry to say the sound is nowhere near as good as the cassette adapter.The frequency response is good, but unfortunately there's beaucoup de noise and harmonic distortion as well.Loud rock music doesn't suffer too badly, but if you're a lover of classical music or acoustic jazz, I doubt you'll find this rig very listenable.For a company known for its high-end cable products, Monster also seems to have very poor customer support, if my experience is any indication.I am still awaiting a reply to my email asking how to improve the unit's reception to minimize distortion.Does any company make a car CD receiver with a stereo miniplug input for mp3 players?That would be ideal!Otherwise, if you have a cassette receiver, get a cassette adapter; if you have a CD receiver... well, the Monster won't make you very happy...
