(More customer reviews)Great - especially for the price, it seems to work fine and it's handy to be able to charge your unit in some place other than the car and then use the unit inside a hotel room or house. My only frustration is that the charger does not show when the unit is fully charged, like having its' green light turn off or give me an idea in some instructions how long a full charge will take. However since I am using this for the Magellan 1340 that fault might also lie within the Magellan. I wish the information that the unit cannot be overcharged was listed in an instruction sheet that should be included .

TomTom ONE USB Battery Charger Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)When I got my Tom Tom One, there was a quick start guide that was to say the least inadequite. One of the things they left out was the fact that you can charge your Tom Tom using the USB cable connected to your computer.Insted they have a stern warning in their quick start guide suggesting you spend 30 bucks more to buy the Charger. The Charger works fine, but I don't think much of Tom Tom's business ethics in not including detailed information about their product when the consumer purchases it so you don't end up spending money on things you really don't need. For that reason, I wouldn't give Tom Tom any stars.

TomTom USB Home Charger for TomTom GPS Units Review

Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)Yes, it is great to be able to chargeyour Tom Tom from home. I discovered after I opened the box that the charger for my mobile phone, Motorola RAZR has the sameimput connector as the Tom Tom Charger and alsoputs out 5 V DC.
Though the Tom Tom chargerworks very well, I could have savedmoney by just using the cell phone charger which does exactly the same thing. Now I have a spare.

(More customer reviews)After breaking the power cord for my Magellan GPS, I looked around for a replacement.Magellan was ready to sell me a new one for $25.Same price for a generic one from an electronics store. Then I found another one here at Amazon for $12.And, finally, I came across this one for less than a dollar. The price disparity was so great that I was inclined to be suspicious of its quality, but for less than a dollar I was willing to risk it.It works just fine.As noted by another reviewer, the cord is just a little on the short side, but I have found it long enough to reach over the steering wheel from the cigarette lighter to the lower left corner of the windshield in my 2003 Toyota Rav-4.I've only needed to use it a single time since the purchase - but so far, so good.
